There should be an episode of Seinfeld where the world's going to end and they're all sobbing uncontrollably and holding each other in Jerry's apartment and all their ironic asshole veneers melt away and they learn what it's like to really be human and as they perish in the flames you can see true contentment on their faces for the first and last time.
